Global Supply Chain as a Service Overview:

Zones has been expertly delivering Global Supply Chain as a Service for over 30 years now and constitutes more than 50% of Zones business. GSCaaS is a suite of offerings and solutions from various functions and departments within Zones. This cross-functional strategy encompasses processes that focus on six primary customer needs i.e., Store and Branch Rollouts, IT Solutions - Service Delivery, Procuring, Storing, and addressing Supply Chain and Pricing Issues, Warehousing and Fulfillment, Remote Worker Solutions (RWS) and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD). These needs are addressed by procuring products and then storing, integrating, scheduling, and ultimately shipping the product to a specified series of locations.

Position Overview

The role demands a complex combination of technology prowess and supply chain expertise. The resource should be well versed with concepts of logistics and inventory management. As Business Architect, you will be responsible for supporting Zones Account Executives and clients by providing solutions and processes overview and presales assistance on products, solutions and services that are included in Global Supply Chain as a Service (GSCaaS) offerings. You will help to streamline sales processes, educate AE’s and clients on relevant services, technologies, and suite of offerings that constitute GSCaaS.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Architect role has the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for articulating and positioning solutions and services included in the GSCaaS suite of offerings for Zones’ clients.
• Determine project demands for products and associated services as well as understand logistics, warehousing, integration, and fulfillment services requirements of the project by asking the right questions from customers.
• Has in-depth knowledge of HW such Systems and Storage, Networking devices, and workplace devices. Can discuss HW features and provide feature comparisons between various models from different manufacturers. The Role requires HW expertise and solid understanding of workplace devices and their integration requirements.
• Present and discuss managed services like service desk, performance monitoring, device management etc.
• Present and articulate IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Services including Remote Worker (RWS) Solutions to AMs and customers.
• Should have a sound understanding of Zones GSCaaS services capabilities, product features, technologies, and professional services.
• Collaborate with other departments and functions within Zones to create coordinate project plans to manage opportunities.
• Evangelize Zones IT Solutions, supply chain, logistics and warehousing offerings and Professional Services.
• Conduct customer calls and customer presentations, as necessary.
• Obtains relevant industry and partner certifications and attends approved trainings.
• Works with other departments and functions at Zones to ensure sales and logistics processes are streamlined and optimized to maximize sales.
• Works with SAs, AMs, ATEs, WinCenter, Day 1 Support and clients to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
• Pipeline Management and forecasting.

We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills

• BA/BS in Business, IT, or a related field preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers, and coworkers.
• Fast learner and open to learning new tools, processes and can become an expert and leader in the administration of such tool and processes.
• A team player who possesses a ‘can do’ attitude who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Strong people skills and ability to enable others through conducting training and demonstrations

Technology Focus & Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office - especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Order Fulfilment, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Product Lifecycle, Integration, Warehousing and Logistics
• Experience with US Based IT partners and customers
• Aptitude for learning about technical aspects of products and process a necessity
