Job Description

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer, Zones IT Solutions Pakistan

Reports to: Global Financial Controller

1)     Role & Responsibilities:

a)      Act as the finance lead for Zones Pakistan

b)     Manage 3 separate teams

i)       Local finance

ii)      US finance support

iii)    UK finance support

c)      Manage and conduct the monthly and quarterly financial closing process and coordinate the financial roll up and reporting responsibilities in conjunction with the Global Finance group

d)     Prepare Monthly Financial Reports for internal and external consumption at the divisional level

e)     Train the Pakistan finance team and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters

f)       Management of the divisional treasury and cash management functions in coordination with the Global Finance organization

g)      Manage the divisional annual planning and budgeting process including management and oversight of the divisional finance, planning and analysis activities and regular reporting of operational results for the division against budget and forecast

h)     Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all audit issues are resolved and compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with applicable Reporting Standards and federal, state and other required supplementary schedules and information

i)       Develop and maintain systems of internal controls in conjunction with the Global Finance organization to safeguard financial assets of the organization, including but not limited to:

i)       Fixed asset management

ii)      Cash management

iii)     Balance sheet reconciliations

j)       Responsible for adherence to all corporate financial policies and Control procedures

k)      Lead special projects in the divisional finance department in conjunction with the Global Finance team

l)       Work with global finance and IT to support the implementation of a global ERP system.

m)    Drive value within the business through lowering costs and driving operational efficiencies

n)     Manage relationships with bankers, external auditors, and tax authorities.

o)     Oversee payroll

p)     Responsible for all corporate filings within Pakistan, to ensure Zones is and remains compliant with regulatory bodies

2)     Required Experience:

a)      Progressive Accounting experience to include:

i)       Operational controllership or leadership

ii)      Multiple location and financial consolidation experience

b)     Strong people leadership and collaboration skills

c)      Hands-on ERP entry and reporting experience

d)     Experience leading external audit activity

e)     CPA required

f)       GAAP and IFRS experience required

f)       Timely submission of cash forecasting

g)      Timely filing of local sales, use, and excise taxes

h)     Ability to adapt processes to meet scaling opportunity and get team onboard to provide faster close timelines without sacrificing accuracy

i)       Identification and securing of cost reductions and process efficiencies for the organization
