Position Summary

  • Develop and maintain levels of expertise in (CATEGORY) products, programs and policies to support and enable the Sales organization, and customers
  • Proactively drive top-line revenue for (CATEGORY) to achieve sales goals, through outbound calling and collaborating with Zones Sales teams
  • Maintain tracking data and manage progression on pipeline, deal registration, and open quotes with a primary focus on bringing opportunities to close
  • Participate in the development of (CATEGORY) marketing programs and strategies
  • Assist the PPM Manager and partner representative to create programs to drive sales increases of (CATEGORY) products
  • Act as the main point of contact for all internal sales questions pertaining to (CATEGORY) products and programs
  • Promote and sell the joint value proposition of Zones and (CATEGORY)

  • Develop and maintain levels of expertise in (CATEGORY) products, programs and policies to support and enable the Sales organization, and customers
  • Attend (CATEGORY) product training, seminars, and trade shows when available
  • Facilitate Sales training on (CATEGORY) products and programs, in conjunction with the PPM Manager
  • Provide a value-add to customers by conferencing on calls with sales reps
  • Drive top-line revenue for (CATEGORY) to achieve sales goals
  • Utilize all tools at your disposal (marketing vehicles, promotions, brand programs, incentives, internal programs, CRM, etc) to ensure sales and gross margin growth for the brand
  • Track sales trends and competitive landscape, and bring suggestions for improvement to the PPM Manager and Brand contacts
  • Proactively drive to attain Sales targets, and execute pulse programs within the Sales organization to achieve quarterly growth and profitability goals
  • Maintain tracking data on pipeline, deal registration, and open quotes with a primary focus on assisting in closing opportunities
  • Track sales in relation to sales targets, rebate goals, SPIFs, and Deal Registrations
  • May also be required to coordinate / share reporting with partner via email, conference calls, or the available partner tools/portals
  • Identify possible opportunities that could increase revenue/margin and provide value to the customer
  • Work with our Inside Solutions Architects (ISA’s) and other support teams to manage deals through the sales cycle and end
  • Qualify leads, determine prospect needs, and engage Brand resources to help closes orders where appropriate
  • Ensure all Sales AEs understand the (CATEGORY)’ product lines and program
  • Create and/or disseminate sales tools to increase product awareness and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal sales processes
  • Create and distribute battle cards, product bulletins, call scripts, add-on sales matrices, positioning statements, and competitive information
  • Act as the main point of contact for all internal sales questions pertaining to (CATEGORY) products and programs
  • Relationship Management 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all reseller sales representatives to identify and assist in closing sales opportunities Provide (CATEGORY)-specific contacts, phone numbers, and tools to Zones sales force
  • Build relationships and work closely with (CATEGORY) representatives in the field to execute programs and drive engagements with Zones AE and Sales Management
  • Attend Quarterly Business Reviews, and provide feedback to (CATEGORY) contacts on trends, opportunities, and inhibitors to growing revenue

Required Experience

  • 1+ years required of experience in a product or services sales position
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills
  • Planning and Facilitation Product and Program Training
  • Good interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills and strong negotiating skills

Technology Focus & Requirements

  • Proficiency in computer terminology and technologies Networking or Security HW experience a plus
  • Must have a good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Outlook
